Description:
Renderoc RG is supplied as a ready to use blend of dry pow-ders which requires only the site addition of clean water to produce a free-fl owing non-shrink repair micro concrete. The material is based on Portland cements, graded aggregates and fi llers, and additives which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic state, while minimising water de-mand. The low water requirement ensures high early strength and long-term durability.For larger repairs, the mixed Renderoc RG may be modifi ed by the addition of 5mm to 12mm clean, graded, saturated surface dry aggregates at site. For exceptionally large repairs, the local Fosroc offi ce shall be consulted.

Fosroc off ers a technical support package to specifi ers, end users and contractors as well as technical on-site assistance in locations all over the country.

Design Criteria:

Renderoc RG can be applied in sections upto 100mm deep. For larger sections, the addition of approved aggregates may be required. This will depend on the specifi c confi guration of the repair location. Fosroc offi ce shall be contacted for further information

Performance Specification:

The fl uid micro-concrete repair material shall be a single component, cement based, micro-concrete to which only the site-addition of clean water ( and approved graded coarse aggregates where specifi ed) shall be permitted. The micro-concrete shall contain no metallic aggregates, or chlorides and shall be shrinkage compensated in the plastic state. The micro concrete in the fl owable consistency should achieve a compres-sive strength of not less than 10N/mm2 after 24 hours, 40N/mm2 after 7 days and 50 N/mm2 after 28 day s at 300C. Most importantly, the cured microconcrete shall contain no metallic aggregates, or chlorides and shall be shrinkage compensated in the plastic state. The unrestrained expansion shall be between 1 - 4%. The fl exural strength shall not be less than 5 N/mm2 @ 28 days. The microconcrete shall have a coeffi cient of thermal expansion similar to that of the host concrete. The mixed density of microconcrete shall exceed 2100 kg/m3 at 270C.

Preparation
All surfaces to be treated with Hydroproof must be thoroughly
cleaned by a wire brush or other mechanical means, to
remove all dust, laitence or debris. The surface must also be
free from oil, grease, wax or any other form of foreign matter
which might affect adhesion. Spalled and deeply
disintegrated concrete or mortar must be removed to a sound
substrate and repaired suitably before coating.

Instructions for Use:

Preparation:

• All surfaces should be dry and free from contamination suchas oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, laitance, andall traces of mould release oils and curing compounds. Thisis best achieved by lightly grit-blasting the surface.
• Where moss, algae or similar growths have occurred,treatment with a proprietary biocide should be carried out afterthe grit-blasting process
• Spalled and deeply disintegrated concrete should be removedto sound concrete and repaired with a Fosroc repair system.For further advice, consult the local Fosroc office.
• It is essential that all surfaces to be treated be pre-soakedwith clean water prior to application of Brushbond

Mixing:

• Brushbond liquid should be poured from the plastic containerinto the metal drum provided. For brush application consistencymix with a slow speed drill (500 r.p.m.) fitted with a FosrocMixing Paddle (MR3)
• The powder component should be added gradually to the liquidto avoid lump formation and mixed for 2 to 4 minutes.
• Brushbond should be immediately used after mixing. Do notmix more material than can be used within the pot life. Keepmixing Brushbond during the application.

Application:
Application of Brushbond on hot substrates (i.e. over 40oCsurface temperature) will need the prior application of a primercoat. Mix Brushbond and water in slurry like consistency andapply Brushbond over the primer whilst it is still wet.

For best results, surfaces should be damp. In order to obtainthe protective properties of Brushbond, it is important that thecorrect rates of application are observed.
Use a short stiff brush (preferably 120 - 200mm width) andapply in one or two coats as required.

METHOD OF USE
Surface Preparation
Prior to application of CICO TAPECRETE P-151,
surface must be prepared as mentioned below
to avoid failure and to achieve maximum
beneficial properties.
 The surface shall be cleaned to remove all
dust, foreign matters, loose materials or
any deposits of contamination which
could affect the bond between the surface
and the CICO TAPECRETE P-151 coating.
This can be done by scarifying, grinding,
water blasting, sand blasting, and acid
washing or by any other approved
method.
 New flat surface like sub-base concrete
shall be made reasonably smooth so as
not to impede the application of CICO
TAPECRETE P-151 coating and to avoid
sharp projections.
 All concrete surfaces shall be thoroughly
pre-wetted prior to the application of
CICO TAPECRETE P-151 coating by pouring
water on flat surface or by spraying water
on vertical/inclined surfaces
